Shannon and I, recently did the Everest Base Camp trek and had an amazing experience with ace the Himalayas. Initially, it was just the two of us but towards the end we picked up many new friends along the way. While preparing for the trek the ACE office was easily accessible. We got clear instructions about what to bring and what to expect on the trek.

ACE met us at the hotel and answered all our queries. Our hotel stay was comfortable. Ace picked us up from the hotel the next day morning to take the flight to Lukla. Following the flight, we were greeted by our guide Nima and two porters Karma Sherpa and Subalal Raj.

Nima was such a cheerful companion and guide to us. It seemed like we have been friends forever. Nima was very knowledgeable and knew how to handle every situation and didn’t treat us like foreigners. He is one of the best guides I have ever had and I have done a couple of guided treks

Our porters karma and subalal Raj were very nice and had perfect coordination with Nima. After dropping off the bags at the day’s destination, they would stick around to answer any questions.
Special shout out to karma, on the day of the EBC TREK karma insisted on helping us with our day backpacks which was a lifesaver and we couldn’t thank him enough. Also if anyone can match Subalal Raj’s smile, I would like to witness it.

All in all, the beautiful experience of the Himalayas became memorable for us because of the equally wonderful team of ACE. We will highly recommend ace and our guide Nima and his team.
